Things To Do

• Chaweng is one of the busiest neighbourhoods in Samui, and also has one of the most popularbeaches. The nightlife in Chaweng is one of the best on the island. You’ll find many livelybeachside bars, pubs, and restaurants all on one long strip adjacent to the beach.
• Shopping opportunities in Chaweng include Central Festival Samui, and the walking street andnight market, with their many food stalls and retail booths.
• For a bit of family fun, head to Samui Easy Kart for go-karting and indoor-skydiving.
• The Lad Koh View Point is a great place to enjoy views of the Gulf of Thailand. The view pointf faces east, so it’s also worth waking up really early to catch the beautiful sunrise here.
• Further south of Chaweng is Lamai Beach, which is far quieter than Chaweng. There is finewhite sand and deep enough waters for swimming. Also visit Lamai Viewpoint, which offers tours to natural attractions in the area, as well as an exciting zipline ride for the daring.
• The Hin Ta and Hin Yai Rocks (Grandfather and Grandmother) at the southern end of Lamai Beach draw visitors who marvel at the fascinating (if not also suggestive) rock formations. The waters around the rocks are typically crystal clear, though too shallow for swimming.
• Visit Fisherman’s Village, Bophut Beach, the dining hub of Koh Samui with over 40 restaurants,  many of them beachfront or on the sand itself. Most shops and restaurants are open from latemorning or early afternoon. The Village becomes a vibrant “Walking Street” and is closed totraffic from 5pm on Fridays.
• The 12-metre tall seated Buddha statue represents Buddha’s journey to enlightenment and is asymbol of meditation and purity.
• Enjoy golfing at Santiburi Golf course that is set amidst a reserved coconut palm plantationwith panoramic views of the Gulf of Siam.
• Silver Beach, otherwise called Crystal Beach, sits along the cliffs that separate Lamai from the Chaweng area.
