Villa Details

The stylish 6-bedroom villa, complete with a 20 x 4-metre lap pool, is located in the lively Seminyak area on Bali’s southwest coast. The striking architecture is influenced by the Torajan houses of South Sulawesi with prominent triangular peaked gables to the roof. Set in a private walled garden, the main building comprises a spacious open-air living and dining area, three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a cinema room with wide screen projector, and a fully equipped modern kitchen and bar.

A separate, single-storey, self-contained guest pavilion houses two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The predominant building materials are smooth creamy-white Palimanan stone, polished wood and ironwood shingle, with contemporary minimalist décor and furnishings enhanced by vibrant splashes of colour.

The 6-bedroom Villa rests on 1300 square metres of land and boasts a 20 x 4-metre lap pool, complete with bubbling Jacuzzi, within a large, private walled garden. The striking architecture is influenced by the Torajan houses of South Sulawesi with prominent triangular peaked gables to the roof. The entrance to the property takes visitors past a sparkling water cascade next to an ornamental pond and the garden temple.

Surrounded by a neat flat lawn, the main building comprises a spacious open-air living and dining area, three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a cinema room with wide screen projector, and a fully equipped modern kitchen. A separate self-contained guest pavilion houses two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The predominant building materials are creamy-white Palimanan stone, polished wood, and ironwood shingle, enhanced by contemporary minimalist décor and vibrant splashes of colour. Mountain bikes are available for guests use.

Living and Dining Area

A large Buddha statue greets guests outside the main living area. Cooled by gentle breezes and ceiling fans, the sizeable open-air living and dining room has been designed to maximise the garden and pool frontage and incorporates different areas for different functions. The floor, interior wall, staircase façade and wide pillars are constructed entirely of smooth Palimanan stone. The space is stylishly furnished with minimalist cream-cushioned lounges and a large dining table with bench seats, following the clean linear form of the architecture.

There is a wide flat-screen TV, DVD, Internet Broadband connection, and high quality audio system for the convenience and entertainment of the guests, and there is also a toilet and washroom, complete with fitted cupboards. Ideal for small functions and parties, the living and dining area spills out onto the pool terrace with the extension of the Palimanan floor. Attractive wooden sunloungers line the terrace, which is bordered by palm trees.

Kitchen

A fully equipped, open-plan, full service kitchen is located at one side of the living and dining area.

Bar

The kitchen is flanked by a built-in L-shaped bar, equipped with wine rack, cupboards, sink, microwave and toaster.

Downstairs Bedroom

The air-conditioned downstairs bedroom is furnished with a king size bed, a desk and fitted wardrobes, and is characterised by a lime green theme in the choice of quilt cover, curtains and accessories. Twin lime green partition walls flank a dressing area behind the bed.

The en-suite bathroom is accessed from a sliding door behind the dressing area and boasts an oversize oval-shaped cream terrazzo bathtub as its centrepiece, strategically positioned upon a pebbled floor underneath an open air flue that allows the sunlight and fresh air to permeate the room. The rainshower features a curved Palimanan stone splashback, next to which guests will find ‘his & hers’ washbasins, adequate shelving and a toilet. Even the soap dishes are colour co-ordinated in lime green.

Upstairs Bedroom

This large air-conditioned bedroom is located upstairs on the mezzanine area. The minimalist style is continued and the once again the bedroom presents a king size bed, desk and fitted cupboards. Two sliding glass doors open onto a small pebbled terrace overlooking the garden.

The semi-open air bathroom is highlighted by an oversize polished concrete bathtub; there is also a large wall mirror, twin washbasins, innovative shelving and storage space, a powerful rainshower, and toilet.

Cinema Room

The cinema room is located upstairs. This cosy room is fitted with a warm polished teak floor, cupboards and low-level built-in seating with a rainbow of deep cushions, which reflect the bold soft furnishing colours of the bedrooms throughout the villa. State-of-the-art technology projects movies and satellite television channels onto a wide screen. A semi-open air shower room with toilet, washbasin and rainshower is located en-suite.

Japanese Bedroom

Library

Glass doors in the cinema room open onto a sunny pebbled terrace, affording views of the pool and garden and neighbouring rooftops. From here, a wide wooden ladder leads up to a small library located in the roof.

Guest Pavilion

Situated at right angles to the main building and facing the swimming pool, the single-storey guest pavilion features an ironwood shingle roof; it houses two self contained air-conditioned bedrooms, each accessed by a set of full length sliding glass doors…

Guest Bedroom 1

Guest bedroom 1 features a reddish-hued benkirai wood floor, a desk and a king size bed under a soaring pitched roof. The minimalist décor is emphasised by the fitted cupboards that hug the neutral walls, while the room is characterised by the lilac theme that runs through the soft furnishings including the quilt cover and curtains.

The theme continues into the en-suite bathroom where grey walls are contrasted by a pair of eye-catching lilac alcoves, open to the fresh air and natural sunlight and planted with bamboo. The dominant feature is the large, dark grey polished concrete bathtub, co-ordinating with the ‘his & hers’ washbasins bordered by innovative shelving and storage space, together with a timber deck floor and toilet, while dark grey mosaic tiles provide a splashback for the powerful rainshower.

Guest Bedroom 2

Guest bedroom 2 is almost identical to guest bedroom 1, and is characterised by a bright orange theme against the plain walls. The en-suite bathroom boasts a double size washbasin with two sets of taps, large mirrors and a dark wood shelf unit featuring oversize pigeonhole storage. Palimanan stepping stones lead across a pebbled floor to the rainshower at the far end of the room, set against an orange backdrop where a living palm enjoys the sunshine radiating from the open air section in the roof. The toilet is set neatly into an alcove and a traditional stone water-filled urn makes an attractive decorative feature.

Villa is fully serviced by

A full-time villa manager who oversees and coordinates the staff and property and is available to assist guests during their stay. Two cooks who are trained in the preparation of both local and international cuisine. A menu is provided, and the cook will do all the market shopping. Five maids who are responsible for housekeeping duties, taking care of your daily laundry and providing waiter service around the grounds and buildings of the property. Two security guards who's duties are to patrol the grounds and guard the entrance of the villa from dusk to dawn ensuring your security.
